The Agile Azerbaijan International Summit will kick off on 25 November.

The Agile Azerbaijan International Summit will begin on 25 November. Held under the theme “Shaping Tomorrow: Agility, AI and Data for Impact!”, the event will bring together business leaders in Azerbaijan, representatives of various organizations, and everyone interested in Agile, artificial intelligence and data technologies. ABB Bank, which has been successfully applying the Agile methodology for several years and extensively leveraging artificial intelligence and data technologies, is the main partner of the summit.

The event aims to introduce organizations across Azerbaijan to the benefits of Agile, promote this new working culture in the country, and share experience in artificial intelligence and data technologies. The summit will create opportunities to adopt more innovative, agile and sustainable ways of working.

Experts invited from different countries will share the latest developments in Agile, artificial intelligence and data, as well as international experience and best practices. The event will also feature detailed insights into ABB Bank’s experience and achievements in these areas in recent years.

ABB Bank began implementing the Agile methodology in 2020 at the Bank’s Digital Laboratory. Today, the Bank operates 23 Agile structures with more than 800 employees. The Bank develops and enhances its new products and services based on the Agile methodology.

In recent years, the Bank has launched more than 100 digital products and deployed more than 80 artificial intelligence models based on this methodology, achieving significant improvements in both operational efficiency and customer experience. Currently, more than 65% of the Bank’s new customers are acquired through digital channels, which is a strong indicator of the transition to digital banking.

Since adopting the Agile way of working, the Bank has reduced its time to market from 147 days to 59 days over the past three years. ABB Bank’s customer satisfaction indicator (NPS) has increased to 76.9, while employee satisfaction has risen to 84.2.

Over the past three years, ABB Bank has also made significant progress in artificial intelligence and data technologies, deploying more than 160 generative and predictive models. These models have generated a positive financial impact of more than AZN 30 million for the Bank.
