ABB Bank has launched a new QR-based online payment acceptance solution for businesses, in line with the Central Bank’s AniPay strategy. This innovation has enabled the digitalisation of the final service among the Bank’s acquiring products that previously did not support QR payments, fully integrating ABB Bank’s payment infrastructure with the AniPay system.
With the new service, customers can scan the QR code displayed at the online payment stage using the ABB mobile application or the mobile applications of other banks integrated with the AniPay system and complete their payment. Once the payment is completed, the funds are transferred immediately to the partner’s account. This provides a faster payment experience for customers while enabling partners to access and use the funds received immediately.
The service is designed for businesses with online sales platforms and enables them to accept payments more easily and securely. This not only enhances customer satisfaction but also allows businesses to digitalise their payment processes.
The service is offered with lower commission rates than card payments and enables fully contactless payments. This provides additional benefits in terms of security, convenience and cost reduction.
The technical infrastructure is already fully ready, and the payment solution can also be implemented on e-commerce websites, i.e. online shopping platforms. As a result, businesses will be able to accept payments from their customers via QR codes directly through their websites.
